Open to opportunities
Hi, I'm Will! I'm an Electrical Engineering student who likes working where hardware and software meet. I made this website as a showcase for my projects and a place to keep track of my progress.
Some background: from the rural Top of the South in New Zealand, I moved to Christchurch to follow my dream of building cool stuff!
Three projects I'm proudest of.
A USB-C powered ±5 V dual-rail module that drops into breadboard projects needing a bipolar supply.
A USB-C powered lab instrument for observing and measuring the photoelectric effect with a phototube, from nA photocurrents to stopping potentials.
A USB-C drop-in replacement for the UCFK4 teaching board, with a custom on-board LED matrix, IR link and nav switch.
Summer project working with solar inverters, cloud software and local server deployment.
Courses include: embedded systems, power electronics, controls and engineering design.
A short work experience placement where I got my hands dirty helping fix stuff.
Have a board to bring up or a role to fill? I'd like to hear about it.
